Our Wedding

Although the couple grew up a mere 25 minutes away from one another, it wasn’t until 2021 when the two connected for an unforgettable Jersey Shore summer. It all started with their first conversation on Hinge, when Dan impressed Hannah by recognizing a specific Snowbird run in Hannah’s Hinge profile pic (very perceptive!).

Hannah thought Dan’s profile (representing the fam from the start) spelt k-e-e-p–e-r material.

So invariably, after the “texting stage” it was time to meet IRL. Hannah and Dan had their first date on a rainy Thursday night in Asbury park at a chic little cocktail bar called the Distillery, followed by dinner (bold first date move), and then some gelato because neither are ready for the night to end. After that, the summer was filled with cute beach dates, Sea Hear Now, meeting each other's families irresponsibly quickly, and near constant drives back and forth exit 109 and 100A. After returning to the city in the fall, Dan and Hannah enjoyed meeting each other's friends and doing the Manhattan thing. They become inseparable wedding dates and ski buddies alike. And eventually, they move in together in Hoboken in 2023 while plotting their big adventure out west. And in 2024, they make their big move to San Francisco.

Life is good. So in 2025, on a weekend trip to Lake Tahoe, Dan pops the question in beautiful Emerald Bay. It's official. Dan and Hannah forever and ever.
